The staff team is not responsible for accounts being "hacked", as you like to call it, aka accessed by someone other than the owner.
Hacking would mean that someone cracked into our database (isn't Happening), or they cracked into your home computer with a keylogger, etc. The second option (home computer being attacked) is possible, but this is obviously not our fault or responsibility. Most of the time, accounts being accessed is caused by one of the following:
Sharing accounts with a friend/boyfriend/girlfriend/sibling/etc who turns on you
Giving your password away, whether voluntarily or accidentally (phishing sites, etc)
Using an easy-to-guess password, like your account name or 1234, etc
Using the same password as you did on previous servers (admins have full access to that info, as does anyone who cracks their database security on low-grade servers)
Being the victim of an internet attacker who planted a keylogger, etc on your computer, or got the password from a public network
No matter what the reason, an account being accessed is not our fault, and we will not be responsible or liable for it. We will NOT be obligated to return items that are "stolen" or lost due to account access; we *might* restore access to the account for the original owner if they can prove the account is theirs.
